Treat him well, hold his hand like you’ll never let go,
hug him constantly and don’t let go first,
listen to him when he needs to vent, laugh at his jokes even if they’re whack,
kiss his cheek, remind him you love him daily, be patient with him,
respect his family, hang out with his friends, keep him out of trouble,
talk to him as much as you can, make sure he’s okay especially when he’s quiet,
compliment him, trust him with your heart,
make as much memories as you can
and most importantly...learn from my mistakes.
Whatever happens, fights n’ all, don’t let him go.
He can be stubborn, a trouble maker and rebel but he’s the sweetest guy you’ll ever meet.
He likes to play rough in front of his friends, so just let him,
'cause when he’s alone with you he’s the softest teddy bear.
Sometimes it’ll seem like he loves basketball more than you, but it’s not true.
He’ll love you everyday and hopefully it’ll turn into forever.
It’s gonna be hard for me to see you two together
and I’m sorry in advance for being jealous and upset,
but just understand that I was once in your spot
and it’s hard to forget that kind of thing.
But what matters the most is that I want him to be happy, even if that means he’s not with me...
You’re a lucky girl n’ try to remind him that he’s the best
